Come for the lobster supper, stay for the music and dancing. The Shore Club has earned its reputation as “Nova Scotia’s Last Great Dance Hall” and “Home of the Original Lobster Supper.” Since 1936, they have been serving their classic Nova Scotia lobster supper; a whole lobster with one pound of fresh, cultivated mussels, unlimited salad bar, a roll, and a dessert of choice with tea or coffee.

GOLF

Tee up at the Links at Brunello in Timberlea or Indian Lake Golf Course in Hatchet Lake.

CYCLE

The Peggy's Point Lighthouse is one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world. Located in an active fishing community famed for its picturesque village, this iconic Canadian attraction is well worth the short drive from Downtown Halifax.

*Lobster suppers served May through October.

Hit the St. Margaret's Bay Rails to Trails with a bike rental from the Train Station Bike & Bean in Tantallon. Discover the area with a guided multi-day tour from Pedal & Sea Adventures in Black Point or Freewheeling Adventures in Hubbards.

THE SCHOOLHOUSE

The Peggy’s Cove Coastal Region feels like it was made for scenic coastal drives. Explore iconic lighthouses, sample fresh seafood, and discover local history on a tour of this must-visit region.

Experience fiddle music as it is meant to be heard, and pick up a few dance steps and Gaelic words along the way. Three half-hour performances each day.
