This three-hour morning tour takes you on an orientation trip around Singapore, including visits to significant landmarks and tickets to Gardens by the Bay. You will be picked up at your hotel, followed by a visit to the iconic Merlion Park, where the statue of the mystical lion-headed fish creature (often used as Singapore’s mascot) is located.
Next, visit Singapore’s oldest Chinese temple, which has witnessed the growth of the city-state. Continue your journey to Sri Mariamman Temple, the oldest Hindu temple in the city, known for its colourful Gopuram (entrance tour) adorned with statues of Hindu gods. Take a moment to admire the peaceful atmosphere of the temple before strolling through Chinatown to explore Singapore’s historic heart.
The tour concludes at Gardens by the Bay, a must-see futuristic architectural wonder, where you will visit the Cloud Forest and Flower Dome, the largest greenhouse in the world on your own.
At 5 pm, again make your way to Singapore’s bustling Chinatown for an immersive culinary adventure. Visit a specialty store for speciality, slow-grilled jerky-like meat with a secret recipe passed down through generations. Relish the honey-sweet bakkwa, and sample “carrot cake” or Char Keow Teow at a hawker centre. For the main course, visit a Michelin stall to enjoy their signature soya sauce chicken rice.
Conclude your foodie journey with a sweet treat at a popular dessert shop before heading back to your accommodation.
