Arrival in Siem Reap
Enjoy a private transfer from Siem Reap International Airport to your booked accommodation in downtown Siem Reap by air-conditioned vehicle. The airport is located 45 kilometres away from the city centre, and the transfer to your hotel will take around an hour, depending on traffic conditions. After checking into your hotel, spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing at the hotel’s swimming pool or exploring Siem Reap on your own.
Angkor Temples Sunrise Tour and Apopo Centre Visit
No trip to Cambodia is complete without setting one’s eyes on the breathtaking scale and beauty of the UNESCO World Heritage Angkor Complex. This experience is made even more special by seeing the magnificent Angkor Wat at the crack of dawn, with the sun rising directly behind the temple’s majestic spires, painting a breathtaking silhouette across the sky.
Once the crowds start thinning, we enter Angkor Wat, the crown jewel of the Angkor complex, dedicated to the Hindu God Vishnu, with its architecture depicting tales from Hindu mythology. Explore the world’s largest religious monument while the morning air is still cool, and the light is soft, enjoying a far less crowded and more intimate experience. We then whisk you away for a delightful, private breakfast in a charming local garden, before dropping you off at your hotel to relax and freshen up.
In the afternoon, prepare for a truly unique and impactful visit to APOPO. Discover the incredible work of this global non-profit organisation that trains African giant pouched rats to save lives by detecting landmines and tuberculosis—a powerful story of innovation and hope.
Continue your archaeological journey by visiting Bayon, a distinct temple whose towers are adorned with 216 smiling faces of the God Brahma, the creator of the universe. Conclude your tour at Ta Prohm, popularly called the ‘Tomb Raider Temple’, where ancient walls and towers are engulfed by towering trees and giant roots, making the place appear atmospheric and slightly eerie at the same time and serving as a true visual testament to nature’s might over a man-made structure.
Countryside Experience at Trei Nhoar Village (Private)
Set off on a cultural immersion journey from your hotel to the quaint village of Trei Nhoar, nestled 35 kilometres southeast of Siem Reap, amidst the serene Cambodian countryside. Upon arrival, your community guide will warmly introduce you to the village and its hospitable hosts. Supported by Discova, the Trei Nhoar community practices sustainable tourism to honour and preserve their ancestral traditions.
Engage in hands-on activities such as basket weaving, recycling plastic, and Khmer cake
making, followed by a delightful family-style lunch made with fresh local produce. Conclude with a visit to a Buddhist temple for a traditional Khmer blessing, before heading back to Siem Reap.
In the evening, you can choose an optional tour (at an additional cost) that visits the Phare Circus Show. Run by an NGO that supports Khmer youth’s futures through art and performance training, Phare is a lively show combining elements of high-flying, tight-rope walking, juggling, contortion, music, and theatre circus arts in one energetic showcase of Cambodian culture.
Siem Reap – Koh Kong
After breakfast, meet your guide at the hotel and transfer to Siem Reap airport to check in for your short one-hour flight to Sihanoukville. Upon arrival, your driver will transfer you to Koh Kong for the boat ride to the resort. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. You may choose to enjoy a self-guided jungle hike, go kayaking or swimming in the pristine river, or set off on a zip-line adventure. As evening approaches, unwind at the riverside restaurant and enjoy the sunset view.

Koh Kong Tatai Waterfall by Boat
Situated on the Tatai River in Koh Kong province, Tatai Waterfall is a majestic force of nature where a set of rapids plunges six metres to the rocks below. Depending on tide conditions, you will leave at 10 am from your hotel for a 45-minute ride to the falls.
Turning into a tributary, you head into the heart of the Cardamom rainforest, accompanied by the far-off sounds of exotic birds and its secretive wildlife. Within minutes, you have reached the end of the journey, gazing down into the
turbulent waters of the waterfalls. Soon it’s time for lunch as you continue immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of the jungle.
We will also have some kayaks available for you to try out for some more adventure. After leaving the falls, depending on the season, we might stop at the mouth of a small river, where you can kayak to a traditional Cambodian farm, and see rice fields and tropical fruit trees.

Koh Kong – Koh Russey Island
Have breakfast and check out of your Koh Kong hotel before taking a short boat ride back to the Koh Kong mainland. From there, a private transfer will take approximately five hours to Sihanoukville, where you will then check in for the speedboat transfer to Koh Russey Island.
Upon arrival at the resort, the remainder of the day is yours to spend at leisure.
