All course details are accurate as of the publish date of May 1. There is still a lot of uncertainty about what the rest of the year holds, but we can assure you your health and well-being is our top priority. We’re prepared to make adjustments to these courses should event gathering guidance change. The VSCPA is committed to ensuring you can still attend events and earn your CPE credits as you would in any other year — it may be a different delivery method, but you can expect the same quality education we have always provided. The VSCPA now offers several flexible payment options for paying your membership dues! You can now pay your VSCPA membership dues on either an annual or monthly basis.

As a benefit of VSCPA membership, you’ll receive these great discounts: Up to $125 off VSCPA seminars & simulcasts* VSCPA members and members of other state CPA societies get $125 off 8-hour seminars and $50 off 4-hour seminars. $30 AICPA member discount The AICPA logo is used throughout the catalog to denote AICPAsponsored events. AICPA members who disclose their affiliation at the time of registration for an AICPA/VSCPA-sponsored program receive a $30 discount on the lowest applicable event fee. This discount may be used in conjunction with other VSCPA registration discounts; however, you cannot combine two 4-hour AICPA programs to earn the discount. This discount is only applicable to 8- and 16-hour seminars and simulcasts. The $30 discount is available until the date of the event and cannot be applied retroactively. AICPA/VSCPA-sponsored programs are identified in all marketing pieces. Plus 30+ free CPE Credits! Keep Track of Your CPE Credits Should you be selected for a CPE audit, you will be required to use the VBOA’s CPE Tracking System to submit your CPE records and documentation to the VBOA. For your convenience, the VSCPA automatically uploads all credits earned at VSCPA-sponsored events from 2009 to today (excluding on-demand courses) to the VBOA’s CPE Tracking System (unless you opted out of this benefit). Renewing Your License The VBOA has begun moving to a single renewal date of June 30 each year for all CPA licensees. All licensed Virginia CPAs must renew their individual license annually. An individual CPA license expires on June 30 and an individual license may be renewed within 90 days of expiration.
