THE HILL COUNTRY CHARITY BALL
OUR HONOR & PRIVILEGE TO BE PART OF THIS NIGHT

Thanks to the generosity of the Hill Country Charity Ball Association, the amazing sponsors, and all the guests who attended the event, we are thrilled to announce that a remarkable donation of $140,000 was raised for Disabled Outdoorsmen USA. These funds are already making a tangible impact allowing us to expand our program with new adaptive equipment and innovative outdoor experiences designed to be even more inclusive for all who love the outdoors.

Honoring TJ duPerier
DOUSA’s Legacy
At the heart of Disabled Outdoorsmen USA is a man whose spirit and determination shaped our mission from the very beginning TJ duPerier TJ was more than an inspiration; he was the spark that lit the flame for DOUSA. His relentless drive, his fighter’s heart, and his “never quit” attitude continue to guide everything we do.
TJ believed that no obstacle was too great and that the outdoors should be a place where everyone could find freedom, purpose, and joy His courage reminded us daily that strength is not measured by what you can lift, but by how you lift others. It was this unwavering belief that led to the founding of DOUSA, and it is this same belief that fuels our mission today.
This year, and every year that follows, we honor TJ—not only at our banquet but in every hunt, every adventure, and every life we touch. His legacy is woven into the very fabric of DOUSA and will live on through the countless lives changed because of his vision. We carry him with us in every step of this journey, determined to keep his spirit alive by opening the outdoors to all.
TJ’s story is not just a chapter in our history—it is the reason our story exists. And as long as DOUSA continues to serve, his legacy will continue to inspire.

Thank You Wildlife Partners!
We are incredibly grateful to Wildlife Partners for their extraordinary generosity and support of Disabled Outdoorsmen USA. At this year’s Wildlife Partners Expo in Boerne, Texas, an amazing $63,550 was raised to help us continue our mission of making the outdoors accessible for all.
This remarkable contribution will have a lasting impact providing adaptive equipment, creating more inclusive outdoor opportunities, and expanding the reach of our programs so we can serve even more individuals. It’s partnerships like this that fuel our work and remind us of the power of coming together for a cause greater than ourselves.
To the entire Wildlife Partners team, the sponsors, and every guest who took part in this event thank you for standing with us. Your generosity is helping change lives, one outdoor adventure at a time.
Thank You Passion In Action!
Our friends at Passion in Action brought us a big idea: a volleyball tournament to support our mission. They didn’t just make it happen they knocked it out of the park.
Because of their hard work and the incredible turnout in Austin, enough was raised to gift a brand-new scooter to our dear friend and participant, Jason Ruiz. Jason has poured his heart into our organization, and it’s an honor to celebrate this milestone with him and his family.
A huge thank you to Passion in Action, Hudson Ross, and everyone who played, donated, or cheered from the sidelines. You were part of something truly special.

THE DOUSA SPORTS COMMITTEE
DOUSA's Mission of Outdoor Inclusion
The Disabled Outdoorsmen Adaptive Sports Committee is expanding reaching beyond our roots in hunting and fishing to create a more complete, inclusive program for individuals with disabilities. This exciting next chapter is made possible by a generous $75,000 grant dedicated to helping us acquire innovative adaptive equipment and open new doors in sports and recreation. With these funds, we’re exploring equipment that can transform access and opportunity—adjustable sport chairs, adaptive racquets, specialized tires, and all terrain mobility devices designed for activities like tennis, pickleball, golf, off‑road exploration, and more.
Every decision is guided by one question: Will this make a meaningful difference in someone’s life? Our goal is to invest in tools that empower people to move freely, build confidence, and feel a true sense of belonging. This is more than expanding into new sports it’s about creating life changing experiences that foster independence, community, and joy. We’re proud to take this step forward, guided by the real needs of those we serve and inspired by the belief that the outdoors and recreation should be open to everyone. The road ahead is bright, and we’re just getting started.
