From Our Founder Back in 1980 working in an afterschool program in Brooklyn, New York, DirectEd had its genesis. The life lessons instilled from my dad , who was born in 1901 were to perform your duty or task better than anyone else - good things will happen. “He was correct” Dad Lived till he was 94 but his teachings live on. In 2026 that desire to be a resource everyone values, easy to work with and being that single point of contact for our clients is the key to continued success. The legacy of DirectEd will continue through the people we employ who are integral partners to this firm and their love for helping others makes all the difference everyday. Ed Sanders Jr. serves as Chief Operations Officer at Directed, where he oversees the company’s real estate projects, sales, IT, solutions, and day-to-day operations. Following in his father’s footsteps, Ed carries forward a family legacy of leadership while helping position Directed for continued growth and expansion. Since joining Directed in 2022, Ed has played an integral role in strengthening the company’s operations, streamlining internal processes, and developing solutions that support long-term business growth. Ed is passionate about creating an environment where people, processes, and partnerships work together effectively. His focus on collaboration and continuous improvement building a strong foundation for the company’s future. Wendy Schwartz oversees all corporate services from catering services to promotional, swag and all corporate events. 'W' as she is known by her friends, brings ideas to life through creative branding, free thinking, enabling us to deliver well-planned events. From organizing giveaways, company merchandise combined with catered events, ensuring every detail comes together.
Wendy takes pride in creating experiences that leave a lasting impression. Her positive attitude, outgoing personality, and ability to connect with people make her an important part of the Directed team. She's always willing to jump in, help wherever needed, and make sure things run smoothly behind the scenes. Adrian Leal is the Director of Sales & Development at Directed, Adrian leverages over 20+ years of experience in the industry to drive financial growth and strengthen the company's market position. We develop and execute strategic plans, build and maintain key customer relationships, and stay informed about market trends to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
I am passionate about delivering impactful visual environments that help strengthen brands and enhance corporate culture. I have a proven track record of coordinating human, material, and financial resources to undertake unique scopes of work and achieve beneficial change defined by specific objectives. Ciaran Coen is an Account Executive at Directed, bringing nearly a decade of experience working alongside architects and general contractors throughout New York City. Originally from Cleveland Heights, Ohio, he began his career in commercial luxury interior design before transitioning into his role at Directed. Ciaran combines industry knowledge, client relations, and project coordination to help deliver impactful environments and solutions. Outside of work, Ciaran enjoys cooking, soccer, and traveling the world. Cianan has a degree in Hospitality & Tourism from NYU and a Bachelors Degree from Ohio State University in International business & speaks Portuguese.
Matt Connelly serves as a Project Manager at Directed, where he handles the day-to-day coordination of complex assignments. He ensures that every phase of a project moves forward smoothly and stays on track. Drawing from his lifelong interest in sports, Matt views project management as a team effort. He enjoys the strategy involved in overcoming challenges and values the discipline required to see a task through to the finish line. When he isn't managing timelines, Matt is usually following his favorite sports teams or staying active. He appreciates the balance of a good event, the experience of traveling to new places, and spending quality time at home with family.
Michael Bell is a dedicated Project Manager with over 8 years of experience leading initiatives at both a large financial firm and a healthcare organization, Michael brings a strong foundation in strategic execution, crossfunctional leadership, and operational excellence. A graduate of Adelphi University, he is known for his keen attention to detail, ability to manage complex projects, and commitment to delivering results with precision and efficiency. Standard Payment: All invoices are to be paid based on net terms. In the event that a revolving line of credit is accepted, all payments must be made at the end of the month of invoice. Failure to pay invoices within the time periods previously enumerated may subject the customer to collection proceedings for which costs and expenses will be sought. In the event that Directed Online should commence any legal action(s) or otherwise seek to collect payment from the customer, the customer agrees to pay reasonable attorney(s) and/or collection agency fees, prior to, and subsequent to a judgment entered by a court of law, and other expenses incurred by Directed Online whether or not a suit is filed. The customer expressly waives the right to a jury trial.

Governing Law: Any disputes arising from any Directed Online order entered in the United States of America shall be subject to the laws of the State of New York and shall be submitted to binding arbitration according to the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Impossibility of performance: Should one or more of the provisions in this contract be voided by statute or public policy of the location where it is executed, all other terms and provisions shall remain valid and enforceable. All voided
clauses shall resume their effect as soon as the reason for inapplicability has ceased. Acts of God, acts of state, war, disturbance, or strike, acts of nature, fire, law or judicial decisions shall be deemed as force majeure events and will constitute impossibility of performance. In the event of temporary impossibility, the performance of the contract shall resume on the same terms once the reason for non-performance has ceased. 6. Payments for this RFP no deposit required full payment net 15 days after completion.
