THE CHALLENGE THE SOLUTION THE RESULTS

BNY needed to update branded environments across its global footprint in an aggressive sixweek timeframe, including locations in the United States, United Kingdom, Poland, Hong Kong and India.

The effort required precise coordination across regions while maintaining strict brand consistency.

Directed collaborated closely with BNY to manage the design, fabrication, and installation of the new brand signage program. The team oversaw every detail—from material sampling and color matching to cost analysis, logistics, and on-site installation.

Through meticulous planning and coordination, Directed successfully delivered a simultaneous brand unveiling across three continents.

PROJECT LOCATION

888 Broadway, NYC

MANUFACTURING & INSTALLATION OF INTERIOR GLASS GRAPHICS, WALLPAPER, CUSTOM PAINTED ALUMINUM ADA SIGNAGE FABRICATION NWITH MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF PROOFS

THE CHALLENGE THE SOLUTION THE RESULTS

Midway through an interior refresh of its headquarters, Netflix grew dissatisfied with the design direction and execution. With construction already underway and brand accuracy nonnegotiable, the company replaced the existing team and brought in Directed, recommended by M To-Pros, under an accelerated timeline. The mandate was clear: get up to speed quickly, align with Netflix’s creative vision, and execute without disruption — while achieving absolute color fidelity across multiple materials and applications.

Directed led project management, sampling, color matching, fabrication, and installation of interior glass graphics, custom wall coverings, and painted aluminum ADA signage throughout the space. With color as the defining element, Directed implemented an intensive proofing process, producing eight rounds of samples on final installation materials for each graphic. In close collaboration with Netflix, every image was refined and approved before production. All graphics were produced using a six-color UV printing process to ensure depth, consistency, and precision across surfaces.

Directed’s hands-on, detail-driven approach ensured every element was reviewed and approved in its final environment prior to production. The result was a seamless execution with no surprises — a space where color, material, and brand expression work in perfect alignment. Netflix confidently welcomed employees and guests into a refreshed headquarters that fully embodies the Netflix brand experience.

Our team provided end-to-end project management, material sampling, and seamless installation across furniture, glass film, wall coverings, paint, and signage—ensuring every detail aligned with Burson’s new visual identity.

Directed delivered a cohesive, elevated workplace without disrupting Burson’s workflow. The finished space reinforces the firm’s brand, supports collaboration, and creates a modern environment worthy of a global communications leader

A STRATEGIC RETURN TO STUDIO 57 FOR CBS THIS MORNING

Paramount is a leading global media and entertainment company, uniting iconic studios, TV networks, and streaming brands like Paramount+ to deliver premium content that connects with audiences worldwide.

PROJECT LOCATION

CBS Broadcast Center West 57th Street, NYC

FURNITURE MOVING, STORAGE & REINSTALLATION DURING RECREATION OF INTERIOR GLASS GRAPHICS, WALL COVERINGS, HORTICULTURAL DESIGN WITH CREATION OF LIVING WALLS & PLANTING

THE CHALLENGE THE SOLUTION THE RESULTS

In September 2025, Paramount relocated CBS This Morning back to the historic Studio 57 at the CBS Broadcast Center as part of a cost-saving consolidation following its acquisition by Sundance Media. The goal was to modernize the space for today’s broadcast needs while staying within strict budget limits. The challenge lay in transforming a legacy studio into a polished, future-ready environment that upheld the show’s brand and served staff, guests, and talent alike.

Working with Meridian Design, our team managed the full transition—inventorying existing assets, coordinating reuse, and overseeing new furniture, finishes, and greenery. We handled design, procurement, and installation of wall coverings, glass graphics, paint, and horticultural features including living walls. Every detail was guided by efficiency, schedule, and consistent brand expression, ensuring the space elevated both function and aesthetics.

Once seen as a downgrade from the former Times Square studio, the revitalized Studio 57 earned enthusiastic approval. The new environment reflects the CBS This Morning identity through refined design and inviting, functional spaces for staff and guests. Careful attention to comfort, cohesion, and brand detail was paid. The result is a studio that balances fiscal responsibility with design excellence—proving that strategic investment can deliver both efficiency and impact.

UNITING LEGACY & INNOVATION

Lucta is a global, Barcelona-based company specializing in flavors for food and beverages, fragrances for personal and home care, and highperformance additives that enhance animal nutrition. With more than 75 years of experience, the company is driven by innovation rooted in science.

PROJECT LOCATION Mahwah, New Jersey

THE CHALLENGE THE SOLUTION THE RESULTS

Following the acquisition of Fragrance & Flavor Specialties in Mahwah, NJ, Lucta sought to visually integrate the facility into its global brand. While the operation was established, the space itself did not reflect Lucta’s culture, legacy, or long-term vision. The challenge was to bring the site into the corporate fold in a way that felt intentional and authentic.

Rather than applying surface-level branding, Lucta’s design team focused on storytelling. The lobby—previously an underutilized pass-through space—was identified as an opportunity to communicate the brand’s history and momentum.

A custom wall graphic was designed as a timeline, tracing Lucta’s evolution from its founding in 1949 to today. Bold color fields, archival imagery, and concise copy create a clear visual narrative that employees and visitors experience immediately upon entry. Directed partnered with Lucta’s facilities and design teams to print and install the graphics with precision and consistency.

The installation transforms an underutilized corridor into a purposeful brand moment. It reinforces Lucta’s legacy, supports cultural alignment, and provides immediate context for guests and new team members—connecting past innovation with future growth in a single, cohesive experience.

PROJECT LOCATION

NYC Offices

401 Broadway, NYC

PRODUCTION & INSTALLATION OF GLASS GRAPHICS, WALL COVERINGS, LIVING WALLS, MOVING, STORAGE & REINSTALLATION OF FURNITURE

THE CHALLENGE

Headway’s NYC office serves as a central hub for leadership and operations, supporting a hybrid, remote-first team. Though equipped with modern amenities and flexible meeting spaces, the environment needed refinement. The refresh introduced functional upgrades—like conference room naming and glass bands—and renewed branded storytelling through a CEO mural, Journey Wall, and reception backdrop, creating a cohesive, inspiring, and welcoming space for all.

THE

SOLUTION THE RESULTS

Partnering with the Headway team, Directed fabricated and installed a full suite of interior elements, including glass wall graphics, wall coverings, signage, and integrated greenery featuring a living wall. Managing the project endto-end, Directed handled sampling, coordination, and precise installation of all finishes. Thoughtful scheduling minimized disruption while delivering a seamless refresh that reflected Headway’s brand and culture.

The revitalized workspace reinforces Headway’s identity as a people-centered mental healthcare platform while enhancing office functionality. Refined branding creates a stronger visual narrative, supported by added wayfinding and distraction bands for comfort and clarity. Natural elements bring warmth and calm, balancing the modern design. FABRICATION & INSTALLATION OF INTERIOR ILLUMINATED SIGNAGE + ADA SIGNAGE, PAINT & WALL COVERINGS

THE CHALLENGE THE SOLUTION THE RESULTS

As Tubi prepared to relocate its headquarters to a new space in San Francisco, the goal was to bring the entire team onto a single floor. The belief was simple but powerful: when talented people work together in one shared environment, collaboration accelerates and connections deepen. The challenge was to transform an existing spec suite into a space that could support Tubi’s fast-paced product and engineering teams—while clearly expressing the brand’s playful, exploratory identity and meeting an ambitious timeline.

Working alongside the Tubi team, Directed was engaged to deliver interior illuminated signage, ADA signage, paint, and wall coverings that would reinforce both functionality and brand expression. Directed provided end-to-end project management, including sampling, color matching, fabrication, and installation. Close coordination ensured all elements aligned with the design intent while staying on schedule and within scope.

The new headquarters reflects a more connected, modern workplace designed to support collaboration at scale. Branded signage and finishes bring Tubi’s “going down the rabbit hole” spirit into the space, creating moments of delight while reinforcing the company’s identity.

TESTIMONIALS

"Ed Sanders has consistently gone above and beyond on the print jobs he has done for me and most were last minute rush orders. Excellent results every time. Ed is an expert in the commercial print industry and is my go-to-guy whenever I have questions regarding special print jobs or paper options. On the very rare occasion Ed doesn't know the answer he will know where to get it."

Paul Ferrali, The New York Times

"Ed is a valuable resource within the printing/graphics industry. He is responsive and quickly reacts to client requirements and demands. He follows through on all projects through completion and ensures that work performed is of high quality. Ed also submits creative ideas on projects that are in the design stages to help reduce or lower costs.”

"For over 20 years Directed has been providing Tishman Speyer with various office and facilities related services. The relationship started from a cold call and has grown into a strategic partnership over the years. I would recommend Ed for almost any project having an unrealistic deadline, budget which requires patience/ detail.”

Claude Evans, Tishman Speyer

"Directed has been able to provide unbelievable costs and production in unrealistic times over the past 8 months of COVID-19. We have been able to acquire the following: Graphics, Installation, Dispensers, Cleaning Agents, Wipes, PPE Supplies and various HR Direct Mailed Projects to our employees. I have worked with Ed over 30 years at my various firms and he is still eager to deliver which makes your job easier when we wear so many hats these days with limited staff.”

Fatima Hakim, Coty

"Directed had been pitching to our firm for 16+ years, we received a recommendation from Switzer Group & Razor Consulting suggesting to let this firm have an opportunity to bid on various PPE Solutions for our locations. The projects consisted of poly carb dividers for NY & NJ, sanitizing stations, graphics & way finding signage, temperature scanning systems, PPE supplies for employees, educational literature and various Clorox and Lysol wipes. We can say that their team did not miss a beat, they delivered everything promised while going above and beyond our expectations.”

"Directed always delivers the product exactly to specifications, and at extremely competitive prices. Many of my requests have been last minute in nature, and have been handled with grace and speed. Since Edward has so many resources at his disposal, he is able to offer us creative solutions beyond print that including branding support and marketing suggestions.”

EDWARD M. SANDERS
“THE FUTURE”

ED SANDERS, FOUNDER

DIRECTED WAS BUILT FROM THE GROUND UP. LITERALLY.

My story began in 1980 in a small print shop in deep Brooklyn, sweeping floors after school. I stayed curious and learned every part of the process, from bindery and prepress to running a press. By 20, I was the Print Production Manager of a large Manhattan print shop. That foundation shaped everything. Technology has evolved. Scale has grown. The mindset hasn’t.

We understand how things are actually designed, made, installed, and executed.

Experience matters. Craft matters. Follow-through matters.

Directed isn’t built on hype. Our foundation is doing great work. We have built lasting relationships with clients who value partnership, precision, and a team that stands behind what they deliver.

One of the best things taught to me by my father, Pops, was “Stay focused, perform your task better than anyone and business will come”. He was born in 1901 and the fundamentals of his teachings are instilled in all we do today.
