New home: New kids on the block
Following a Sept. 24 press conference in Notre Dame Seminary, New Orleans, Bishop James F. Checchio visits with students at St. Catherine of Siena School, Metairie, La., run by Dominican Sisters from Nashville. The school has 1,035 students supported by 110 faculty and staff members. Bishop Checchio made the trip following his appointment by Pope Leo XIV as Coadjutor Archbishop of the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
