Mass Sixth Sunday of Easter l Christ’s promise at the Last Supper—“Whoever loves
me will keep my word, and my Father and I will make our dwelling with him”—is all that we need to be happy. Barnabas and Paul “dedicate their lives to the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” that they might gleam with the splendor of God and draw others into the apostolic faith. God acknowledges such dedication by ordaining that the names of the twelve apostles be inscribed on the wall of the heavenly Jerusalem. The same is offered to us who refuse to let our hearts be troubled, but who cling to the name of Christ instead. l
Entrance Antiphon Cf. Is 48:20 Proclaim a joyful sound and let it be heard;/ proclaim to the ends of the earth:/ The Lord has freed his people, alleluia. Gloria Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will. Lord Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son, Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us; you take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer; you are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us. For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ,
