ECO TRAILER • • • •
INTELLIGENT TRACKER WATER PROOF 5 YEAR BATTERY LIFE EASY INSTALLATION
Packaged within an IP65 water proof enclosure with a rechargeable lithium back up battery, the unit will automatically switch from regular vehicle tracking mode to asset tracking mode when the external power is disconnected. For example, when the trailer is disconnected from the cabin, the unit will automatically be powered by the backup battery and will switch to “asset tracking mode.” In this mode, instead of sending GPS in the normal predetermined interval of 1-2 minutes, the unit will send GPS data in longer intervals to preserve battery life. For example the unit will send once a day when parked, and will wake up automatically and send an alarm on vibration then switch to send data every XX minutes for as long as the movements.
ECO TT (TEMP TAG) • • • •
GPS TRACKING DEVICE 6 DIGITAL SENSORS BATTERY BACK UP ANTI-THEFT
An advanced telematics GPS unit with functionalities such as: GPS, IO’s, driver behavior and engine diagnostics that supports up to six digital temperature sensors with an accuracy of 0.9F (0.5C) to be installed in six separate zones within a refrigerated truck or trailer. The Eco TT can be set to report the temperature in the various zones periodically and/or automatically when the temperature is changing a certain preset percentage from previous reading or when reaching a preset high/low temperature. The Temp Tag Host Units can also be set to automatically turn ON/OFF the refrigeration unit. A Eco Plus with an integrated RFLink reader is installed in the cabin and Eco TT with integrated internal or external temperature sensors are installed in each zone of the trailer. The TTag will send temperature data wirelessly every 30 seconds to the Eco Plus that will analyze the data same as described above and will route it to the server. Event logs such as engine on/off, vibration alarm, door open/close are sent with a time stamp of the event and can be configured remotely to be sent with or without the exact GPS location taken at the time of the event. Used in conjunction with Plantcom’s Fleetgate management software solutions, information such as vehicle locations and details, business/ private trip reporting and temperature reporting give business owners and their customers visibility and control.

SAFETY FATIGUE MANAGEMENT - WORKING SAFER Laws apply to trucks of greater than 12 tonnes gross vehicle mass and buses with 12 or more seats (9 seats in NSW) and are implemented in New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria. By utilising the Plantcom Fleet Management System driver / vehicle records are updated live to assist not only in compliance but by improving and managing poor driver behaviour, such as harsh braking, speeding, harsh cornering which are often signs of fatigue. The Plantcom system will enable this to be quickly identified and addressed not only providing useful (and recordable information) for compliance but giving the opportunity to discuss these behaviours with your staff to encourage a smarter and safer environment.
