What is RHEON™ How it works.
At the core of RHEON™ is an active polymer that strengthens when exposed to force. Laboratory created and tested, RHEON™ armour incorporates highly strain-rate sensitive polymers into a revolutionary geometric design.
It is soft and flexible when in its natural state but stiffens dynamically on impact to dissipate significantly more energy than conventional static materials. RHEON™ has advanced impact absorption when compared to other materials, removing the energy from the shock.

How it feels.
When support is not required, RHEON™ is a low profile, lightweight, malleable armour that allows for easy movement on the bike. New for 2027: L2 Interchangeable Protection Inserts for our Body Armour
All body armour garments are supplied with L1 protection as standard.
Optional L2 inserts for the back, shoulders and elbows are now available separately, allowing riders to customise their protection level depending on the type of riding they are doing.
This gives retailers an easy upsell opportunity while providing customers with the flexibility to switch between lightweight everyday protection and higher-level impact protection using the same armour garment.
We are considering selling the body armour sleeve (fabric garment only) as a separate option to retailers. For example if you are a rental shop and doing rental protection you could refresh the fabric garment year on year, while continuing to use the existing protection inserts. If this is something that would be of interest to your business, we’d love to hear your feedback.

The bibs are equipped with a Coolmax chamois for ergonomic comfort during extended rides, and strategically placed mesh pockets on the lower back for essentials.
