My journey in graphic design has allowed me to work with various brands, and reshape their identities through impactful visual communication. I focus on understanding each brand’s core message and redefining it into visuals that resonate with their audience.
From here on out, allow me to guide you through my portfolio, which encapsulates my graphic design journey.

Kompong Dewa | Bentuk, 2020
Kompong Dewa is an apartment, office, and casino complex located in Cambodia.
Inspired by Cambodian shadow puppetry known as Sbek, the signage uses two interlaced layers of solid and translucent material to represent the shadowplay. The rod handles of the sbek is represented with the supporting hollow on both sides.

The 18th Menu | The Trans Luxury Hotel, 2022
The project initial goal was to rebrand the digital menu which at the time was useful to cater the need for contactless menu during the pandemic.
With the help of the chefs, I took the pictures for all menu at an angle which can show the contents clearly. I create layouts and choose a plain grey background to accentuate the colors of the dishes.
Then I was tasked to create the printed version of the menu, which acts as the summary for the digital menu. In this project, I consulted with the chef on the signature menus from each section to be featured on the printed menu.

Farm To Table | The Trans Luxury Hotel, 2024
For Earth Hour 2024,
The Trans Luxury Hotel initiated a collaboration with IP Farm in Lembang, to create special menus which ingredients were locally-sourced from the farm.
This collaboration aims to foster collaboration between local brands, showcasing the best of both brands in creating high quality food products.
In this project, I was in charge in the photography taking, art direction for the videos and compositing the whole visuals to create a coherent identity of the program.

Jamu To Go | The Trans Luxury Hotel, 2024
Jamu has been one of the beverage offered throughout the hotel, mainly during breakfast at The Restaurant - (the hotel’s all day dining resto) or during international meetings where the participants are from all over the world.
I did a facelift of the beverage packaging by creating a label and seal with matching colors.
I use drawings of tropical forest to carry the traditional image, re-layout the short description of the drink to make it more readable, and also created a dedicated color for each variety.

E6 - RC House | Sum & Substance Studio, 2020
A house number sign for a private residence in Cimahi.
The architecture strong point was its square and boxy facade, so the sign uses one rounded edge to counterbalance the main features of the house. The shade was an homage to the old house number, while serving its purpose as cover for the house bell.
The typeface used was a modern twist of the old house number.

Barbershop by Gustav, 2020
Barbershop by Gustav is a barbershop located in the heart of Bandung, Indonesia. It is located in the middle of a very active, youth-friendly sports center. The barbershop was created as a premium version of its predecessor, Gustav Haircut.
The big idea was from the realization that traditional definitions of masculinity—often characterized as rough, loud, brash, and strong—are too limiting. In reality, modern perception of masculinity is diverse and cannot be confined to just one or two words.
Simplifying the scissors from Gustav’s logo to best express the brand’s clean, refined, premium image.
Thin fine lines to represent cleanliness, precision, and sharpness.

Dayak Typeface | ITB - School Project, 2015 Overview
In this subject, we were tasked to choose one province in Indonesia and make a typeface that represents the culture. There are plenty of subject to choose from; architecture, textiles, food, and so on.
I picked Borneo (Kalimantan) as I remember that it is very well-known for Dayak people’s tattoo, but quite under-represented at the time.
This typeface is an homage to the very organic and detailed body art of the Indigenous people of Borneo.

Dayak Typeface | ITB - School Project, 2015 Idea and Implementation
The shapes that were taken from the tattoo was based on its placement on the arms and legs. It was then implemented in the “body” parts of the letters that have similar characteristics with the human body.
Shapes from the tattoo on the legs were used as the stem of the letters.
With the same principles, shape from the tattoo on the arms and fingers were used on the arms and crossbars of the letters.

Narimo, 2024 Overview
Narimo is a lifestyle brand that encapsulates everyday moments into pieces of wearable art. Our first line of product is bandana.
I co-founded this brand with my older brother, and the brand name comes from our shared belief on our shared experiences; Narimo Ing Pandum, a Javanese wisdom that means “embracing one’s fate”, a mindset of humility and openness to life’s circumstances.
I bring various skills that I have gathered from my professional experiences over the years, overseeing the entire process of our brand—from design and production to marketing and sales.
Times New Roman as the typeface was chosen for its humble yet graceful feel.
The ‘i’ was a representation for human being, with patterns inside which explains our belief that everyone carries their own stories and universe within, which we hope that the stories in our products resonated with.
The pattern can also be seen in our bandanas, which will remain present in other products of Narimo.
Lifestyle Brand Identity
Narimo, 2024 Product Development: Illustration
The first releases are about the morning. Contrary to the usual conception on morning, the time when people are actively doing their routines, we brings up the story of how mornings are a moment for self reflection.
The first article is Dawn, when the sun had just appeared and the day starts.
Second article is Komorebi, a Japanese word that means “sunlight leaking through trees”.
The illustrations was made in Adobe Illustrator, with some parts were hand drawn by my brother.
Dawn reminds us to appreciate the transitional moment— the mere seconds between the calm of night and the busy morning that offers a chance to pause and reflect before the day begins.
Komorebi is about the wandering mind that moves freely like the dancing leaves, with occasional blips of memories from the past, present and future.
