Half-million repair budget found for vacant council villa A multimillion-dollar council-owned waterfront home which has been unoccupied for close to five years will undergo a $550,000 refurbishment. The council renovation budget falls far short of 2021’s $1.3 million estimate for the
cost of repairs to 55 King Edward Pde from heritage architects Salmond Reed. Auckland Council’s Planning, Environment and Parks Committee last week approved, in principle, allocations of $250,000 in 2026/27 and $300,000 in 2027/28, for
