In our first ever photography issue, staff photographer Spurthi Nrusimhadevara and staff writer Zoey Larson examine the historic Jacksonville neighborhood of Durkeeville in the cover photo feature, "Beyond W. 13th Street." While Stanton College Preparatory School is situated in this community with a rich culture, many students still lack knowledge of its history. Other photo features in this issue highlight the captain of the girls varsity soccer team, the popular trend of thrifting, the camaraderie of Stanton's marching band, and the diverse artistry to be found at Jacksonville's First Wednesday Art Walk.
