In our first special issue of the 39th production year, we focus on the myriad of issues related to food. Aptly titled “The Food Issue,” staff writers Kendall Ford, Shravya Nalla, and Grace Larson spotlight cultural food traditions, food inclusivity, and Jacksonville’s culinary identity. The issue also highlights Florida picnic essentials, restaurants owned by the families of Stanton’s students, the unique dietary habits of Stanton athletes, the intersection of food and art, and the search for the best boba tea in town.
