we can move,but the land that nurtures cultural spirit itse f cannot. There
will always be some culture that needs to be cultivated on its land to
continue passing down. People, v llages,and cultures are ike panters, soil,
and flowers. However in the process of urbanization and modernization,
this relationshi p wi linevitably be dlvided and tom apart 03 .
The urban planner's function extends beyond shaping the physical
structures of the city; it de ves into the pulse of communities and echoes
the unmet aspirations reverberating within the heart of the city.To me,
being an urban planner transcends the boundaies of a mere profession; t
embodies a role akin to that of a city problem explorer. Within the intricate
folds and comers of the urban landscape, I discern the convergence of
needs and challenges. As an observer my ambition is to unearth the
concealed needs beneath the surface, advocating for the rights of those
silenced voices within the urban panorama

This project aims to conduct a comprehensive SWOT analysis of Shangcang Town,
exploring opportun ties and challenges fo r sustainable development By thoroughly
examining factors such as geographical environment industrial structure, and
infrastructure conditions, the internal strengths and weaknesses of th e town will
be assessed
, along wit h the identification of external opportunities and threats.
Subsequently, through an in-depth study of land spatial planning in Tianjin
Municipality and Jizho u Dist ict, coupled with the formulatio n of questions regarding
the town's future development, the intention is to provide substant ial insights fo r the
strategic planning of Shangcang Town.
The project is designed to offer a scient fic and sustainable development direction,
facilitating the town in achieving comprehensive coordinated, and sustainable urban
development goals Additionally, GI S willbe ut lized to analyze the current s tuation in
Shangcang Town focusing on three majorfactors: geographical environment socio-
economic aspects, and land use. Through weighting an d overlay analysi s of these
factors, the final assessment of land sustainability is expected to be obtained.
Through a comprehensive examination ofinternal factors and consideration
of external opportun ties and threats, the project aims to provide important
insights for the strategic planning of Shangcang Town driving t towards a path of
comprehensive, coordinated, and sustainable urban development
