Current Mortgage Rates The cost of borrowing money is going up… again. The Federal Reserve decided to raise its benchmark rate by a quarter of a point this month. So what does this mean for you? Your credit card rate is going to be a full percentage point higher this summer than it was two summers ago, before the Fed started to raise rates. The same thing Mike Tompkins happened with home equity lines of credit; Sales Manager your rate will be a full percentage point Mortgage Loan higher this year than it was two years ago. Originator It's now more important than ever to make more than the minimum monthly payment and get those credit card balances paid off. Some good news: the Fed’s action should not affect mortgage rates for people looking to buy a home. In fact, the average 30year fixed-mortgage rate loan is still under 4% right now.

Arugula Pesto Pasta INGREDIENTS 1 lb 10 oz 5 1 tsp 1/2 cup 2/3 cup 1 cup
Pasta, such as orecchiette, gemelli, or conchiglie Arugula, washed and tough stems removed Medium garlic cloves, peeled Freshly squeezed lemon juice Toasted pine nuts Extra-virgin olive oil Sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil, drained and thinly sliced
DIRECTIONS Cook pasta according to the directions on the package. Meanwhile, combine arugula, garlic, lemon juice, and half of the pine nuts in a food processor. With the motor running, slowly drizzle in olive oil and process until evenly blended, about 2 minutes. Season well with salt and freshly ground black pepper and process again to blend in seasoning. Drain pasta and return to the pot (but do not return to heat). Add arugula pesto, remaining pine nuts, and sun-dried tomatoes and mix until evenly combined. Serve immediately.
