You will need to work quickly once popcorn kernels start popping.) Heat oil in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Add popcorn kernels and sugar; stir to coat. Cover; cook, shaking pan constantly, for about 2 to 3 minutes or until popping starts to slow.

Immediately remove pan from heat; pour popcorn onto prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt and cinnamon mixture; toss to coat. Allow mixture to cool for 1 to 2 minutes.
