I want to personally welcome everyone to 2018!!! I am truly excited to see all the changes and improvements that have been done over this past year. This is very near and dear to my heart because with Markland developers and my participation starting in 1985, we had the vision to offer the first exceptional Master Planned community in the Scottsdale area. Our message and goal was to create a community with all the key Lifestyle elements to attract clients from all over the country and the world. So what do we mean by lifestyle? Lifestyle is when you can assemble all the items client’s desires in a major planned community. A 24 hole golf course, our estate club with tennis, exercise, and planned functions for all the owners of Gainey to enjoy, the Hyatt Hotel with all its amenities, to the tight security and later on the Shops and restaurants at Gainey Village. I have always believed in one stop shopping “where one lifestyle stops in size and price the next begins.” Our 18 communities in Gainey Ranch offer everything from condos, to townhomes, patio homes to single family homes, and finally the custom estates. Each community gets to enjoy all of these amenities.

I always take a moment to reflect on the past year. The beginning of the New Year is seen as a transition for many of us. It’s a time to step back from our life to reconsider where we have been and where we want to go. There may be a poignant awareness of the losses and struggles that occurred, as well as an appreciation of our good fortune in celebrating the start of yet another year.
Moving from one year to the next, I suggest you pause. Pause to celebrate. Pause to reflect. Pause to take inventory. And pause to see what can be learned from this past year. Self-reflection is a powerful process. So now let’s get excited and educated on what is in store for 2018 and of course a few resolutions:
• Wealth The Scottsdale and Mountain View frontage is underway and will have a great new feel to tie in with the rest of the monument and landscape improvements already completed in 2017. What is the benefit for Gainey Ranch home owners? It will increase already growing home values in Gainey Ranch. • Health I personally am ready to start off the New Year with a health and fitness challenge by joining Anne Blazek at the Estate Club in her program “Fitness on Demand.” I will keep you posted on this fabulous new addition to Gainey Ranch. We all need to be consistent on our exercise regimen. I am the first to be honest and say “I need help.” Anne promises to help me stay focused and consistent.
