Set in Buenos Aires between 19341952, the musical follows Eva Duarte Peron on her journey from fatherless child to ambitious actress to the most powerful woman in Latin America— and, eventually, to a saint-like figure after her death from cancer at age 33. The events in Evita’s life are presented in song and editorialized on by the show’s narrator, Che.

elevision shows have popped up on many of the home and garden networks featuring the tiny house movement. One show even facetiously boasts that “tiny houses are the next BIG thing.”
What is Tiny? Tiny houses typically range from 100 to 400 square feet and can be built on a trailer. Homes between 400 square feet and 1,000 square feet are usually referred to as small homes and are built on a foundation. Zoning is a challenge for both tiny and small homes, as many communities require houses to be 1,000 square feet or more. Size limitations for tiny houses are driven by size restrictions for moving the house from Point A to Point B. If you want to be able to pull your house down a highway without a special permit, it must conform to certain size limits. In most U.S. states this maximum size is 13.5-feet tall, 8.5-feet wide, and 40-feet long – 65-feet maximum including the tow vehicle. Since tiny houses are usually constructed with wood and other traditional home building materials, the weight may exceed weights that are towable by a standard pick-up truck. Why go Tiny? The smaller footprint drives down building costs, so the investment in a tiny house may make it more affordable for many people. A tiny house could be a perfect alternative for retirees or for those wanting a vacation home or off-grid escape. If your job requires you to move frequently or work at different locations, moving your tiny house with you may be a solution worth considering. Tiny homes come with much smaller price tags, smaller monthly bills and less maintenance. These homes, including materials and plans, range in cost from less than $20,000 to upward of $50,000. There are some obvious disadvantages to a tiny house - namely lack of space and privacy. A moveable tiny house requires a place to park it. The options include your own land, an RV or trailer park or someone’s backyard. Availability of water, electricity and sewer are also all limitations as to where the tiny house can be parked and be functional for an extended period of time.
