Amos Ives Root was an innovator, entrepreneur and visionary. As our founder, he instilled the values of honesty, integrity, and “plain old hard work” throughout the Root Company. Over 150 years later, those values still remain.
It all started with a swarm of bees.
A.I. Root was inspired to start a beekeeping business when a swarm of bees landed on the window of his Medina jewelry store. That simple event created a company that has become synonymous with beekeeping, honey, pure beeswax, and the highest quality candles. Some even refer to the Root family as “America’s First Family of Beekeeping.”
The Root Company remains true to its past by focusing on what we know best - beeswax. Our filled candles are made with an all-natural beeswax blend. Our fragrances contain essential oils for a long lasting, aromatic bouquet that is always true to nature. A Root candle is clean burning, long lasting, elegantly designed, and luxurious. Filled Product Color Sequencing
Start with the first color that you carry from left to right until you fill one shelf. Fill the second shelf, and all subsequent shelves, from left to right. Again, start the third shelf directly below the last placed color on the second shelf and fill left to right. Repeat until the fixture is filled.
Pillar & Dinner Product Color Sequencing
Slightly different from the Root Filled product to give the greatest impact for a line that is driven by color. Apply the same process, left to right on the first shelf and then begin the shelf directly below on the right and move to the left.
