Hudson stuck discovery fund
In the wake of Delta Tau Delta’s new partnership with Outward Bound, the Hudson Stuck Discovery Fund was established to expand access to transformational technology-free outdoor leadership experiences for Delt members.
Last year, donors who supported this fund made four expeditions possible for our students at no cost, placing them in environments that built resilience and shaped how they lead. Without last year’s supporters, this partnership simply would not have been possible.
Experiences like these can only continue through collective support – gifts of any size today will determine how many students can take part in this summer’s expeditions. Our goal is to send 53 students on four expeditions across the United States.
This experience 100% changed my life and how I view myself and my abilities. It made me feel more comfortable being uncomfortable and stretched outside of my comfort zone.

What Makes an Expedition Possible:
Supporters can make an impact in a variety of ways – by sponsoring an expedition, sponsoring a student, or making a gift that can be pooled together with other donors to collectively make these experiences possible. Gifts of any size help, and pooling funds with friends and brothers ensures we meet our goal.
Estimated Expedition Expense for a Group of Students: $50,000
Per Student Cost Estimate: $5,000

Program Registration: $4,000 / per student
Travel: $500 / per student
Supplemental Learning Materials*: $500 / per student
*Outward Bound expeditions build reflection time and prompts into their daily curriculum Delt provides waterproof notebooks, pens, protective sun gear, and other materials that allow participants to fully engage in their unique learning experience.
I have never heard of another fraternity offering any sort of program that comes close to this experience. If there is any Delt leadership experience worth keeping, it would be this one with Outward Bound.
