My Dearest Sxsters,
As we reflect on the Fall 2025 term, I am filled with immense pride in the strength, resilience, and heart of our Delta Kappa Delta Sorority, Inc community This year also marked a meaningful milestone for our organization as we celebrated 26 years of Delta Kappa Delta Sxsterhood twenty-six years of womxn coming together to build a space rooted in culture, service, scholarship, and lifelong connection.
Fall 2025 unfolded during a time when the world around us often felt uncertain and, at times, overwhelming Many of our members were navigating demanding academic schedules, personal responsibilities, and the broader challenges unfolding across our communities and around the globe In moments like these, the importance of community becomes even clearer
Throughout the semester, our chapters demonstrated the very essence of what Delta Kappa Delta represents Through service initiatives, cultural programming, leadership development, and simple moments of connection, our members continued to show up for one another and for the communities we serve These experiences remind us that sxsterhood is not only about celebration, but also about support, grounding, and shared purpose

Together, our members contributed nearly 4,000 hours of community service, supporting causes aligned with our mission and uplifting the communities around us Through philanthropy initiatives, our organization also raised funds for causes including Akash’s Libraries, continuing our commitment to children’s education and access. Our members also received recognition within the broader South Asian Greek community, including honors through the National APIDA Panhellenic Association (NAPA) I was deeply humbled to receive the Change Agent of the Year Award, while alumna Nandini Pillai was recognized as Professional of the Year Our partnership with Prevent Child Abuse America was also recognized as the winner of the Campaign of the Year award
Creativity and storytelling also flourished across our charters From innovative marketing initiatives like Rutgers’ DKD x Vogue collaboration to chapter publications such as Mu’s Fall Issue, our members found new ways to share the voice and identity of Delta Kappa Delta with their campuses and communities
As we celebrate 26 years of Delta Kappa Delta, we are reminded that this organization continues to thrive because each generation of members chooses to invest in one another and in the mission that unites us I am incredibly excited for what lies ahead for our community, including National Convention 2026 in Washington, D C , where sxsters from across the country will gather to celebrate our legacy, strengthen our bonds, and envision the future of Delta Kappa Delta together.
Thank you to every member, leader, and alumna who contributed to making Fall 2025 a semester of growth, service, and connection Your dedication ensures that the legacy of Delta Kappa Delta continues to flourish Here’s to honoring our past, celebrating our present, and continuing to build a future grounded in purpose, leadership, and lifelong sxsterhood

Our White Peacocks segment highlights the incredible alumni who have shaped the very foundation of Delta Kappa Delta with their personal and professional successes.
Through their remarkable achievements and unwavering spirit for our organization, these individuals serve as catalysts for positive change, and display the brilliance of our sxsterhood committed to uplifting communities, fighting for change, and elevating ourselves in the process.

Meet Destini Jones, our Sxster Deandra from the Epsilon Charter, whose journey from campus to career is nothing short of inspiring Destini crossed into Delta
Kappa Delta Sorority, Inc in Fall 2019 and graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2022 with a degree in History and a minor in
Anthropology From the moment she crossed, DKD became a space where she grew into the confident, driven woman she is today stepping out of her introverted shell and into her power as a leader
Since graduating, Destini has built an impressive career in the recruitment field. She began her journey at a staffing agency specializing in Finance and Technology, where she spent two years sharpening her skills before transitioning into Talent Acquisition within Human
Resources She then landed her first TA role as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator at the Art Institute of Chicago, and has since moved into her current position as a Recruiting Operations Coordinator at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago an organization that beautifully blends faith and social services to make a meaningful impact across Cook and Lake County communities.

where she had the privilege of connecting with youth who had experienced loss and offering them moments of healing and joy DKD's impact on Destini was profound

When reflecting on her time in DKD, Destini's heart goes straight to the people and the purpose She deeply misses the sxsters who were integral to her growth during her undergraduate years and is grateful to still count several of them among her closest friends She also cherishes the time she spent servicing the Champaign-Urbana community, with her favorite memory being Camp Healing Heart,
it sharpened her leadership, pushed her beyond her comfort zone, and as she'll tell you herself, looks pretty impressive on a resume too
Destini leaves us with these empowering words from
Maya Angelou: "I'm a woman phenomenally, phenomenal woman, that's me. " A quote that, without a doubt, was made for sxsters like her

SXSTER FUERZA | RUTGERS ASSOCIATE CHARTER
Beyond leadership, DKD deepened her connection to service and cultural identity, reinforcing that
empowering South Asian women means building spaces where ambition, culture, and leadership can genuinely thrive together It strengthened her confidence, sharpened her decisiveness, and showed her firsthand that she is capable of driving change at scale
She leaves us with a reminder as grounding as her career: "There is so much peace in knowing that you will not miss out on what is meant for you."
Meet Manasi Nagaokar, our Sxster Fuerza, a powerhouse alumna whose career is a masterclass in turning complexity into clarity. Manasi crossed into Delta Kappa
Delta Sorority, Inc in Spring 2017 and graduated in May 2018 with a degree in Human Resource Management Today, she serves as a Global Design Operations Lead at Kenvue Inc , bringing the same precision and purpose she cultivated in DKD into boardrooms and global operations
Manasi's career has been defined by her ability to sit at the intersection of strategy, operations, finance, procurement, and people and make it all work seamlessly She built her foundation in operational excellence roles at Johnson & Johnson, where she managed complex workflows, vendor relationships, and compliance requirements At Kenvue, she stepped into a Global Design Operations Lead role, overseeing crossfunctional creative and design operations at scale including an $11MM budget, global headcount planning, vendor and contract management, and portfolio execution during a period of significant organizational change Her approach is structured, systems-oriented, and grounded in accountability the kind of leadership that doesn't just solve today's problems but builds frameworks that last
DKD's fingerprints are all over the leader Manasi has become Serving at the national level as the National Vice President of Finance, she learned that true leadership is not about visibility it is about stewardship She built systems designed to outlast any single person, thinking deeply about compliance, transparency, and long-term sustainability That mindset carried directly into her professional career

Dear Esteemed Alumnae Sxsters,
Warm greetings to each of you As we continue this remarkable journey together, we are honored to celebrate 26 years of Delta Kappa Delta Sxsterhood - a milestone that reflects the passion, resilience, and commitment of generations of womxn who believed in building something greater than themselves.
For over two and a half decades, Delta Kappa Delta has stood firmly rooted in the values of sxsterhood, community service, academic excellence, cultural pride, and leadership As alumnae members, each of you has played an integral role in shaping this legacy We invite you to reflect on the journey that has brought us here, to celebrate the incredible impact of our community, and to reconnect with both fellow alumni and our current undergraduate sxsters The relationships built within Delta Kappa Delta transcend time and geography, and it is these lifelong bonds that continue to make our organization so special
Throughout the year, we are excited to host a variety of opportunities designed to strengthen alumni engagement and reconnection. From regional gatherings, to professional development opportunities, service initiatives, and our upcoming National Convention in Washington, D C in July 2026, we hope you will find meaningful ways to reconnect with the sorority you helped build and continue to shape
A thriving alumni network is one of our greatest strengths Your professional journeys, experiences, and insights serve as invaluable guidance to our undergraduate members as they navigate their own leadership and career paths We encourage you to remain involved through mentorship, chapter advising, alumni programming, and national leadership opportunities
