Firstopenedin1985byMargaretandAlanHunt,AlbanyBookshasbeencarried forwardbythreefamilies:theHunts, followedbytheScowcrofts,and forthepast fiveyears,mother-and-daughterteamAndraandClaireLincke.Thoughthestore hasmovedlocationswithinTsawwassenseveraltimes,its roleinthecommunityhas remainedunchanged.Generationsofcustomershave grownupwithAlbany,returning for recommendations,conversations,and awarmwelcomewheremanyaregreetedbyname.
