Lighting Assessments Lighting is in need of assessing from time to time, often to confirm that wildlife is not impacted or to check that installations are performing as expected. Introba provides these services and more, to provide real world information about sites and projects.
Lighting Impact Assessments Where there is light, there is a potential for poorly designed or installed units that risk causing a nuisance. To make sure that we are meeting our obligations to people and planet, we can provide site based and desk top assessments such as lighting impact and baseline assessments to ILP PLG 04, modelling, and obtrusive lighting assessments to ILP GN 01.
Glint & Glare Assessments A glint & glare assessment is mostly used where a moving object may be subjected to disabling bright light incidences that may impact safety; such as flight paths and pilots being dazzled by sunlight bouncing off solar panels or railway signals being obscured from drivers' vision by flashes of light. More often than not these assessments are requested as a part of planning applications near rail infrastructure or flight paths.

Lighting Assessments Photometric Assessments Photometric, often called TR28 surveys are used to take measurements from existing installations and to determine if it is correct, as installed or if there may be obtrusive light issues in the area. Illuminated Advertisement Assessments Similarly to photometric assessments, sometimes there is a need to assess potential impacts from advertising, signs or screens. Site Investigation & Surveys Every accessible site should be subject to a survey. We provide this service, noting visual inspections, asset information, power supplies, private networks and site hazards, as well as inspecting trial holes and site works to report back to the Authority or asset owner. We undertake these surveys during the day and at night depending on the needs of the site. All our surveyors are experienced on site and hold, as a minimum, a CSCS Professionally Qualified Person Card and any person opening electrified assets holds G39 certification.

Professional Services Capital & Revenue Planning For Authorities and private clients alike, there is a need to plan ahead and to budget costs for protecting assets and improving overall network performance. Normally these works are split into a planned and a reactive programme but it can be difficult to decide which projects to prioritise to make the most of available funds.
