J & K Gelbvieh Farm Inc. is offering a $200 premium above market for the retirement of your old bulls. To qualify for our Bull Retirement Program, bulls must be retired by Genetic Power sale day with proof of your bull retirement provided. Call J & K Gelbvieh, or MMS for complete details.
J & K Gelbvieh Farm, Inc. uses exclusively AI sires in their breeding program. The sale offering includes bulls and females produced from embryo transfer, AI and natural breeding from many of the top sires in the Gelbvieh breed. As you read the pedigrees, you will also see the dam’s of the cattle selling are almost exclusively result of AI and embryo transfer. All females selling have survived a strong culling process to offer only females we would keep in our program.
Buyers of all bulls selling for $4500 or more that are injured the first breeding season, will have credit at the value of the purchase price minus salvage value. Contact us promptly so the decision to return the bull to us or to sell the bull by the buyer may be made. Breeding season is defined as the 90 day period following the first turnout of the bulls. Any issues must be reported by September 1, 2026. No warranty shall exceed the original purchase price of the bull. In case of death in the first breeding season, a 25% credit toward the purchase of another bull will be provided by the respective seller. Buyers who choose to freeze semen on a bull purchased in Genetic Power prior to or during the first breeding season has the warranty fulfilled with the semen you froze. No warranty can be claimed on a previous warrant bull. Warranty is void if a Genetic Power Bull is used in a multiple bull breeding pasture.
All bulls were developed and managed by J and K Gelbvieh Farm Inc. All bulls were fed on hay/grain ration to grow and maintain at an optimum ADG. After yearling development, all bulls have been fed to maintain growth and performance for optimum breeding for the new owner.
All bulls selling have passed a complete breeding soundness exam and sell as guaranteed breeders. Health papers and semen evaluation papers are available on all bulls selling. Scrotal measurements will be available on all bulls selling on a supplement sheet on sale day. All bulls have been tested negative for BVD/PI3.
All bulls sell under a sight unseen purchase guarantee as long as you contact Mitchell Marketing Services or J & K Gelbvieh to get your information on the bulls of your interest. MMS or the respective owners must handle your purchases for sight unseen guarantee. Bulls sold on DvAuction are not covered by sight unseen purchase unless contact is made to sale manager or sellers to get information on the bulls of your interest.

All bulls will be available for viewing at the sale facility starting Friday afternoon until the sale starts on Saturday. If you would like to see the bulls prior to this time please call J&K Gelbvieh Farm Inc. to make arrangements.
Terms & Conditions
Terms are cash or check, and settlement must be made sale day before any cattle leave the sale facility. All cattle sell under the standard terms and conditions as suggested by the American Gelbvieh Association.
Genetic Power has many bulls that qualify for Show-MeSelect heifer breeding program. The bulls that qualify are denoted just below the EPD box and in the footnote.

Liability
All persons attending the sale do so at their own risk. J&K Gelbvieh Farm, Inc., Springfield Livestock Marketing Center and/or the sale management assumes no liability for accidents, theft or damages occurring at the sale facility.
All EPDs are current as January 6, 2026 and provided by the American Gelbvieh Association. EPDs are subject to change before the transfer of registration and/or the buyers receipt of the transferred registration papers due to updated data recorded at the AGA.

J and K Gelbvieh will retain 50% semen interest in all bulls selling, unless otherwise stated in the footnotes.


EPDs are displayed for each individual lot in the sale book with a table shown below. The top number is the EPD and the bottom number is the percent rank within the breed for that EPD.

The major benefits of GE EPDs are: risk reduction through improved accuracies, value of time to assess breeding stock at a younger age, increased rate of genetic progress, and getting data on economically important traits which are expensive or difficult to measure. All bulls have DNA for GE EPDs with GGP logo on every pedigree.



JKGF Turning Point M150 combines 2 of the top production cow families ever produced in our program. JKGF F824 cow and the Bella C155 cow families have risen to the top. Turning Point is sired by JKGF Pay UP K824, the 2025 National Gelbvieh and Balancer Sale syndicated bull. Pay Up’s dam, JKGF F824, was the high selling female in the 2025 National Gelbvieh and Balancer Sale and now resides in the Coles Bend Cattle Co program. The maternal cow family, Bella C155 family has produced donors, females and bulls working in our program and other seedstock programs as well. The dam of Turning Point, H155, also produced our top bred heifer that sold in the 2025 Genetic Power Sale. Turning Point puts everything together in a predictable genetic package that is our best to offer Calving ease, low birth, performance and maternal values with top 2% marbling and top 1% FPI. This bull exhibits all traits we strive to produce in our cattle. Selling full possession and 50% semen interest in JKGF Turning Point M150. We have collected Turning Point and will be using him within our program in the future.

His mark has been left throughout the Gelbvieh/Balancer breed with many high selling bulls and females selling in 2025. These 2 full brothers selling are high volume bulls with top 10% performance and top 3% and 10% marbling. Lot 4 is Show Me Select qualified heifer bull.
The dam is JKGF F109, donor dam that produced many daughtes that sold in the Bar SS Cattle Company dispersal sale with an average nearing $10,000. One of the top producing young females in the J and K Gelbvieh program is also a daughter of this great donor.

• Invision was added to our sire group a few years ago to add an outcross line that would satisfy our customers. This sire addition mated well with our cow herd and has produced bulls and females that have maintained performance and carcass values within our herd.

The dam, JKGF Miss Fortune C22 ET, is our donor dam that is a full ET sister to JKGF Chief Justice C205 and JKGF Hattie B C106 ET. Hattie B C106 is the dam of JKGF F109 ET and JKGF F106 ET. F109 is the dam of All American and F106 is the dam of lot 54 bull selling. This cow family has been one of the best genetic production cow families in the history of our program. The mating with DBRG Mr Bold Ruler 3194L has proved to ge a great one. These 2 full brother selling as lots 50 and 51 have seedstock potential with calving ease, performance, maternal values, carcass values and strong indexes.







lots 53 and 54 are the result of a very special genetic combination that are leaders for the future of the Gelbvieh breed.
The donor dam, JKGF F824, was the high selling female in the 2025 National Gelbvieh and Balancer Sale at the NWSS in Denver. She is also the dam of JKGF Pay Up K824, one of the most popular young syndicated sires in the breed.
The sire is DBRG Mr Bold Ruler 3194L, high selling bull in the Rippe Gelbvieh produciton sale in 2024 for $50,000. His first progeny are looking great as you will see in these sons selling on February 14.
