EAST PALATKA WATER PLANT RETROFIT DESIGN
POLK REGIONAL WATER COOPERATIVE | POLK COUNTY, FLORIDA
DCCM provided retrofit design services including the installation of variable frequency drives on distribution pumps and a flow meter for improved water measurement. The project also included construction plans for demolition, site improvements, and water utility modifications, with construction administration to confirm compliance with Putnam County and Florida Department of Environmental Protection standards.
NORTHEAST WATER PURIFICATION PLANT EXPANSION
CITY OF HOUSTON | HOUSTON, TEXAS
DCCM provided structural and process mechanical design for the new raw water intake pump station increasing capacity from 80 to 400 million gallons per day. The offshore pump station features ten 1,000-horsepower vertical turbine pumps, a 240-by-122-foot platform supported by 77 steel piles, and was engineered to withstand hurricane winds and dynamic pump loads.
