Panhellenic at Samford The Panhellenic Council at Samford is the unifying and coordinating body of five national sororities on campus: Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Omicron Pi, Chi Omega, Phi Mu and Zeta Tau Alpha. The council is composed of representatives from each sorority. Panhellenic strengthens the gree k community and provides leadership opportunities for sorority women. The Panhellenic Council promotes scholarsh ip, service, leadership, Christian womanho od and sisterhood.

Eligibility

To go through the recruitment process, you must: 1. be a full-time student at Samford 2. be enrolled for at least 12 hours (for nursing students, 10 hours) 3. have a recommended GPA of 3.0 or higher (for incoming freshmen and upperclassmen)

Summer Contact

Sororities have agreed not to contact prospective members before formal recruitment. This ensures that all prospect ive members have a positive recruitm ent experience without undue pressure that can result from contact outside the form al recruitment process. Summer contact is completely forbidden. It is not fair to prospective members or to other soro rities.
