On behalf of our administration, athletic department, students, and the entire Hononegah community, we are proud to welcome you to the 2026 Illinois High School Association Class 4A Boys Basketball Sectional Tournament. It is a privilege to host some of the top programs in the state as they compete for the opportunity to advance in the postseason.
We are excited to welcome the outstanding student-athletes, coaches, and supporters from Warren Township High School (Gurnee Warren), Auburn High School, Guilford High School, and Waukegan High School. Each of these programs has demonstrated tremendous dedication, resilience, and competitive excellence throughout the season to earn a place in this sectional.
We extend a warm welcome to all players, coaches, officials, families, and fans. Your commitment and hard work have brought you to this stage, and we are honored to provide an atmosphere that reflects the intensity, tradition, and pride of IHSA postseason basketball.
Sectional competition represents the very best of high school athletics—teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and school spirit. We look forward to exciting matchups, unforgettable moments, and the high level of play that defines Class 4A basketball.
We ask all spectators to join us in creating a positive and respectful environment for everyone in attendance.
