Region 4 Eyes Changes, Public Feedback By Aaron Rubin Staff Writer
The Region 4 School District is developing recommendations on governance, school and grade configuration, and educational programming following months of discussion by multiple task forces. District officials also plan to seek public feedback later this year.
The recommendations will be the culmination of discussions that have taken place since the Joint Board of Education Committee established four task forces last year. The groups were formed to reexamine Region 4 from four perspectives: finance, governance, school consolidation and grade configuration, and teaching and learning.
Superintendent Brian White said the community will have an opportunity to weigh in on the recommendations, which could bring changes in all four areas under review. He added that the effort will be a major focus for Region 4 this year. The task forces will continue their work See Region 4 Eyes Changes page 10
