VRHS Graduates Encouraged to Embrace Hope, Authenticity By Aaron Rubin Staff Writer
Valley Regional High School’s Class of 2026 is prepared to face a challenging future with hope, determination, and a desire for authentic human connections following its graduation ceremony June 12. Speaking first at the ceremony, Principal Mike Barile lauded the graduating class for
its achievements and its “character … defined by kindness, determination, creativity, and compassion.” “You pushed yourselves to achieve at high levels while creating a culture where people felt valued, included, and supported,” Barile said. He reminded students that receiving their diplomas signified the conclusion of one
chapter in their lives and encouraged them to bring those values into the next. “As you leave here tonight, I hope you carry a few things with you: be kind, be curious, lead with integrity, and never stop becoming,” Barile said. “Wherever life takes you, know this: you will always be Warriors, always have a home here, and you will See VRHS Graduates page 12
