Foundation Golf Tournament Returns Sept. 29 By Eric O'Connell Staff Writer
The third annual Charity Golf Tournament benefiting the Branford Community Foundation will be held Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club in Branford. Registration for the event is now open.
Each team consists of four players and costs $800. The registration fee includes lunch, dinner, a cart, and greens fees. The 2025 tournament sold out, so interested golfers are encouraged to register as soon as possible. Organizers said there is room for 16 foursomes. Dinner-only tickets are available for
$100 for those who do not wish to play golf but would like to attend the evening program. Sponsorship opportunities also are available. Players can register at branford.auction snap.com/golf2026/event. Those interested in See Foundation page 10

Medina, originally from Queens, N.Y., where handball is widely played, said the court is one of the few available in the area. The park was busy with visitors using the tennis and pickleball courts, splash pad, and other amenities.
