RWA Begins Major Water Main Project on Route 80 Staff Report
Water Main Project Underway on Foxon Road in North Branford A major water infrastructure improvement project is underway along a section of Foxon Road and is expected to continue through the end of July, according to the Regional Water Authority. The project, which began in June, will
install approximately 2,000 linear feet of new water main along Foxon Road (Route 80) between Sunset Road and Caputo Road as part of the Regional Water Authority’s Capital Improvement Program. According to the authority, the work is intended to improve water quality, system reliability, and water flow throughout the area.
Construction is expected to take approximately 10 to 12 weeks to complete. Work is being performed by John J. Brennan Construction Co. and is scheduled to take place between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Motorists traveling through the work zone
