NightGlo 200 glow-in-the-dark pigment is a zinc sulfide compound that responds quickly to excitation by daylight, incandescent, fluorescent or ultraviolet lights. This pigment emits a bright green phosphorescence shade. It exhibits high initial brightness and afterglow. The afterglow effect is dependent on pigment concentration, surface area and amount of radiant energy absorbed. Colors that come alive after dark.
NGX300 is a phosphorescent pigment comprised of a combination of strontium aluminate (SrAl2O4) and carefully selected dopants or activators. NGX300 is notable for its impressive afterglow duration; emitting light for more than 10 hours after light absorption.

Optical brighteners

Their myriad of uses do not stop there, optical brighteners can be used in adhesives, special effects plastics, add a little to brighten up any color and even product identification which makes sorting plastics easier within the recycling process. The secret to these pigments lies in their chemical makeup which allows them to be colorless to the eye, but glow and fluoresce a unique blue color under UV light (Black Light). Supplied in a dry, powdered pigment and available in a water soluble product as well.
