The purpose of this Publication is to provide guidance on the application of the amendment to the General Consumption Tax (GCT) Act for the imposition of GCT on group health insurance premiums as announced in the 2017-2018 Revenue Measures. In addition, it will provide guidance on the consequential income tax treatment as a result of the GCT amendment.
