The Patriots are the Best by Elle Glavin ‘34 and Beckett Bishop ‘34
We think the Patriots are the best team in the NFL. They had Tom Brady as their quarterback, and now they have Drake May who might win MVP of the Year. Mike Vrabel is the coach this year.
They were founded in 1960, and are owned by Robert Kraft Their colors are nautical blue, red, new century silver, and white Their fight song is “I’m Shipping Up to Boston” The Patriots play at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
They are #1 in the AFC West conference this season. They had the longest winning streak (21 games from 2003 to 2004). The Patriots won the Super Bowl in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2015, 2017 and 2019. They are tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers with 6 Super Bowl wins, which is the most in the NFL
Rob Gronkowski was also one of their best players. Some think he was the best tight end ever to play the game. The Patriots had an undefeated season in 2007 with a 16-0 record. Bill Belichick was their head coach for 24 seasons from 2000 to 2023. This year their record is 14-3. Unfortunately, they lost in the Super Bowl to the Seattle Seahawks. The score was 29-13. We still think they are the best team in the NFL

New York has lots of skyscrapers, some are very famous like the Empire State Building and some, people don't even know like One Vanderbilt. New York's skyscrapers have been around for a long time. The first was considered to be the Tower Building completed in 1889 it was around 30 stories, which was considerable for the time
Have you tried the food in NYC? It is so delicious! The street hot dogs, the NY style pizza, and the bagels are all tasty. Two Boots, one of the best pizza shops (according to us) has all types of different pizzas. The Duchess pizza has 4 different cheeses! The hot dogs in the food carts are so good. They are perfectly cooked and burnt. The falafels have the best sauces on them. The pretzels on the food carts are also so good. They are salted to perfection and the cheese sauce you can get with them is delicious. If you've been to New York you have probably had a slice of cheesecake. New York's cheesecakes taste like heaven and have the most delicious flavor.

Wallaby
DID YOU KNOW?
by Zoë Smith ‘34, Graham Kuhn ’34, and Asher Wesley ‘34
Wallabies are small marsupials native to Australia. They are small, only 36 inches tall, and weigh 30 to 40 pounds. They are easily mistaken for kangaroos because they are direct descendants of them. Wallabies have mostly tawny gray fur, with a white chest and belly, and a dark brown muzzle and feet. This wallaby is most known as the red necked wallaby. Wallabies mostly eat grass and herbs. A wallaby has a lifespan of 5 years in human care, though there have been instances of them living much longer. Wallabies are most active near and during twilight. Wallabies are usually solitary but 30 wallabies may congregate to feed.
