Our quarterly community report for July to September, a period that included the SWT supporting 1,434 children from 8 schools through our feeding program, and 15,433 students from 68 schools through the support from the Chantecaille Conservation Foundation, which aims to protect natural biodiversity by supporting local communities who live in proximity to it. The SWT also hosted 22 field trips for school children to Tsavo West National Park or Tsavo East National Park, and the donation of 100 desks to one of the surrounding community schools. Over the month of July SWT also inspected and cleaned 174 bee hives, and it is hoped and expected that new occupations will yield farmers a good income of honey in the coming months. The Trust continues to support 12 children from local communities bordering the Parks through secondary education. These sponsored students are currently in form 3, term 2 (Kenyan system of education). As well as financing University level education for 3 bright and deserving young adults
