PATTERN TYPE: ASYMMETRIC
The DW355 effectively navigates cold, icy conditions with its soft compound (hardness 52 Shore A) built to excel in winter. Featuring an asymmetric tread pattern design, the tread retains its flexibility at temperatures as low as -30°C, which allows more of the tyre to remain in contact and gripped to the road, giving drivers the confidence to tackle all wintry weather.
Two wider grooves on the inner side of the tread ensure effective water evacuation on icy and snowy roads.
Each tread block features a zigzag sipe design, coupled with interconnected, transverse sipes that enhance grip on icy surfaces and help to compress snow.
A single main longitudinal groove on the outer side of the tread, combined with irregular narrow sipes, increase the tyre’s contact area on the outer edges, enhancing handling and stability and reducing the risk of skidding. This improves vehicle performance during sharp cornering and emergency braking.

The DW525 studded tyre provides superior stability on snowy and icy road surfaces. Its (hardness 62 Shore A) compound has been optimised with stud holes, allowing up to 200 snow studs to be fitted for unrivalled winter performance.
The extra strength technology built within the studs prevents them from becoming dislodged when they bite into slippery surfaces, maintaining optimal performance throughout the tyre’s lifetime for ultimate control.
STUDDED
The lightning bolt shape which features in the tread pattern works alongside teeth-like sipes and groove edges that curve around the shoulder to deliver efficient snow clearing, significantly enhancing the handling and braking performance.
The positioning of the stud holes allows for exceptional grip, effective slip prevention and outstanding wet performance, providing vehicle stability.
