Open one hour before the show, JWGL serves tea, coffee, soft and alcoholic drinks, plus a range of crisps and confectionery. There’s also plenty of additional seating along the Gillian Dickinson Gallery.

The money raised through our fundraising enables Darlington Hippodrome to deliver educational and community projects which engage people of all ages in the theatre and its heritage. The funds also support the continued improvement of access provisions at the theatre.

About our Youth Theatre and Dance classes?
These fun, creative, and welcoming classes equip young people with excellent performing skills and provide a chance for everyone to take part in a safe and inclusive environment. Young people get to make friends, become part of a team and work towards performance opportunities on either the Hippodrome or Hullabaloo stage. Children are more than welcome to attend a free no obligation trial session!
Classes are offered over three terms each year in blocks of 10 weeks with a new term starting in September.

Monday Movers
Monday Movers is a movement and dance class aimed at people aged 65+ who are living independently, although any age is welcome!
Term runs until Monday 1 July Mondays 9.30am-11.30am & 11.30am-1.30pm
£65 per term (10 sessions)*
