Darke Hull, a seasoned law enforcement officer, dedicated over two decades of his career to serving and protecting the Portland, Oregon, community through the Portland Police Bureau. Born and raised in Alaska, Darke's early years instilled a sense of resilience and determination. In 1993, he left Alaska to attend Shattuck-St. Mary’s, a prestigious preparatory school in Minnesota, where he pursued both academic excellence and a passion for hockey. Choosing to continue his education in Minnesota, he enrolled at Hamline University and graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology. His academic background provided him with a comprehensive understanding of crime patterns, societal structures, and the judicial system, laying the foundation for his future career in law enforcement.
