Om forestillingen
Underjordiske Danse er både en danseforestilling og en workshop i én for 3-6-årige og deres voksne.
Vi inviterer jer til en legende og fordybende udforskning af den fascinerende og skjulte verden af liv under jorden! Sammen, vil vi forestille os hvordan det føles at være mikroskopisk, indviklet som rødder og danse som nogle af jordens utallige organismer. Gennem bevægelse, leg og fantasi, undersøger vi forbindelse, samarbejde og de symbiotiske forhold, der hjælper livet under jorden med at florere og udfolde sig. Hvordan føles det at være en lille bitte del af noget større?
Intentionen med workshoppen er at guide deltagerne i at observere og bevæge sig på på måder som vækker fantasien, og inviterer børn og voksne til at sanse, føle og lege deres vej ind i mikroverdenen, som findes under vores fødder.

Om kunstnerne
Kalliopi Siganou & Amalie Bergstein
Amalie Bergstein Nielsen og Kalliopi Siganou er københavnerbaserede dansekunstnere, som arbejder sammen som en kunstnerisk duo i udviklingen af “Underjordiske danse”. Begge er uddannet fra Den Danske Scenekunstskole (2019) og deler en stærk baggrund inden for deltagerbaserede dansepraksisser for børn og unge publikummer.
Amalie har omfattende erfaring med turnévirksomhed på skoler, optræden i danseproduktioner for børn samt facilitering af kreative bevægelsesrum for unge deltagere.
Kalliopi bidrager med en praksis, der er forankret i deltagerbaseret scenekunst for børn og unge publikummer, og har udviklet værker til skoler, børnehaver, biblioteker og udendørs offentlige rum, med fokus på at skabe legende og inkluderende formater for både voksne og børn.
I “Underjordiske danse” forener de deres erfaringer og fælles passion for arbejdet med børn i skabelsen af en forestilling/ workshop, der udforsker fantasi, bevægelse og forbundethed, inspireret af jordens mikroskopiske liv.
Josipa Štulić
Josipa Štulić er en dansekunstner baseret i Zadar, Kroatien, og hun er engageret i “Underjordiske Danse” som performer, facilitator og koreograf. Hun er uddannet fra Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance og arbejder som performer, koreograf og danselærer med Zadar Dance Ensemble.
En central del af hendes praksis er at skabe tilgængelige bevægelsesoplevelser for forskellige publikummer, med et stærkt fokus på deltagerbaserede praksisser. Hendes projekter inkluderer bevægelsesworkshops for børn og ikke-dansere, samt inkluderende formater for blinde og svagtseende deltagere.
Sammen med Kalliopi Siganou grundlagde hun kollektivet Koreoigra, en platform for udvikling af moderne danseforestillinger og workshops for børn, centreret omkring leg, fantasi og en fælles kærlighed for bevægelse.

Hver voksen og hvert barn skal have deres egen gyldige billet for at deltage i performanceworkshoppen. Vælg én billet til normalpris + én ungdomsbillet (unge under 25 år), hvis I for eksempel er en voksen og et barn, der oplever Underjordiske
Danse sammen.

Faciliteringen foregår på dansk og/ eller engelsk afhængigt af deltagernes behov.
Bar
Vores bar er åben før og efter performanceworkshoppen, hvor du kan købe sodavand, juice og kaffe/ te. Du er meget velkommen til at medbringe egne sandwiches og snacks, som kan nydes i vores foyer før og efter ‘Underjordiske Danse’.
Vi vil muligvis tage billeder under forestillingen, og derfor vil vi gerne bede om din tilladelse.
Hvad vil billederne blive brugt til?
Billederne kan blive brugt til at fortælle om Dansehallerne’s aktiviteter med børn og unge. De kan også blive brugt til fremtidig markedsføring og videre distribution af “Underjordiske Danse” både i Danmark og i udlandet.
Hvis der er en fotograf til stede ved den forestilling, du deltager i, vil vi bede om din tilladelse til at blive fotograferet ved ankomsten. Du har ret til at afslå at blive fotograferet.
Gardrobe
Vi beder jer venligst om at tage skoene af og efterlade personlige ejendele i garderoben i foyeren, inden I går ind. De 45 minutter, vi tilbringer sammen, består af 20 minutters performance og 25 minutters workshop.
Om Dansehallerne
Dansehallerne er et nationalt center for dans og koreografi, som fokuserer på at præsentere og coproducere danske og internationale forestillinger for alle aldre. Netop nu aktuelt med KORAL dansefestival for børn Dansehallerne er et mødested for det danseinteresserede publikum og de professionelle kunstnere i branchen. Fra vores center formidler vi professionel viden om dansens kunst og skaber dialog om alle aspekter af dansens kunst på et mellemniveau og i dybden.
Som nationalt center, samt som et samlingspunkt for både det lokale og det internationale dansefællesskab, arbejder vi kontinuerligt på at sikre de bedst mulige rammer for kunstnerisk produktion og for publikums møde med dansens kunst. Hvert år kan mennesker fra hele landet opleve det bedste, dansen har at byde på. Og for flere hundrede kunstnere er Dansehallerne året rundt base og omdrejningspunkt for professionelle aktiviteter inden for danseområdet.

I kan også danse jer varme i vores ballondans-studie med discolys og en playliste, der med garanti sætter smæk på danseglæden - perfekt til at jage februarkulden på flugt. Slip den fysiske kreativitet løs, sans, grin, mærk nærværet og lad jer inspirere - sammen.

About the performance
Underjordiske Danse is both a performance and a dance workshop for children aged 3–6 and their accompanying adults.
We invite you into a playful and immersive exploration of the fascinating and hidden world of life beneath the ground! Together, we’ll imagine what it feels like to be microscopic, entangled like roots, dancing like soil microbes. Through shared movement and play, we’ll explore connection, collaboration, and the symbiotic relationships that help life flourish underground. What does it feel like to be a tiny part of something bigger?
The intention of the workshop is to guide participants in observing and moving in ways that spark the imagination, inviting children and adults to sense, feel, and play their way into the micro world beneath our feet.

About the artists
Kalliopi Siganou & Amalie Bergstein
Amalie Bergstein Nielsen and Kalliopi
Siganou are Copenhagen based dance artists working together as an artistic duo in the development of “Underjordiske danse”. Both are graduates of the Danish National School of Performing Arts (2019) and share a strong background in participatory dance practices for children and young audiences.
Amalie brings extensive experience from touring schools, performing in children’s dance productions, and facilitating creative movement spaces for young participants. Kalliopi contributes a practice rooted in participatory performance for children and young audiences and has developed works for schools, kindergartens, libraries and outdoor public spaces, with a focus on creating playful and inclusive formats for both adults and children.
In “Underjordiske danse”, they merge their experiences and shared passion for working with children to create a performance/workshop that explores imagination, movement, and connection inspired by the microscopic life of soil.
Josipa Štulić
Josipa Štulić is a dance artist based in Zadar, Croatia and she is engaged in “Underjordiske Danse” as a performer, facilitator & choreographer. She graduated from the Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance and works as a performer, choreographer, and dance teacher with the Zadar Dance Ensemble.
A central part of her practice is creating accessible movement experiences for diverse audiences, with a strong focus on participatory work. Her projects include movement workshops for children and non-dancers, as well as inclusive formats for blind and visually impaired participants.
Together with Kalliopi Siganou, she co-founded the collective Koreoigra, a platform for developing contemporary dance performances and workshops for children, centered on play, imagination, and a shared love for movement.

The stage is wheelchair accessible and there is an elevator to the stages. All toilets are gender neutral and there is one wheelchair accessible toilet.

Tickets
Each adult and each child must have their own valid ticket to attend the performance workshop. Choose one standard price ticket + one youth ticket (unge under 25 år) if, for example, you are one adult and one child experiencing ‘Underjordiske Danse‘ together.
Language
The facilitation will be in Danish and/ or English depending on the needs of the participants.
Bar
Our bar is open before and after the performance workshop, where you can buy soft drinks, juice, and coffee/tea. You are very welcome to bring your own sandwiches and snacks, which you can enjoy in our foyer before and after ‘Underjordiske Danse’.
We may take photos during the event and would therefore like to ask for your permission. What will the photos be used for? The photos may be used to share information about Dansehallerne’s activities with children and young people. They may also be used for future marketing and further distribution of Underjordiske Danse, both in Denmark and internationally.
If a photographer is present at the performance you attend, we will ask for your consent to be photographed upon arrival. You have the right to decline being photographed.
Additional information
We kindly ask you to remove your shoes and leave your personal belongings in the foyer’s garderobe before entering. The 45-minutes we will spend together will consist of 20 minutes of performance and 25 minutes of workshop.

We are a gathering point for passionate dance audiences and professionals. From our center, we communicate professional knowledge of the art of dance, and we drive discussions about all aspects of the art of dance, at an intermediate level and in-depth.
