the feeling that something is dimming down a never ending dimming dimming that lets other intensities, rhythms on other scales unfold a release a shift in tonality, texture and presence inhabiting the shift cohabiting space a ground for thought still dancing volumes of bodies after all dancing volumes of rhythm, subtleties, details ending and dancing

A choreography of volumes, energies, forms of presence.

Thoughts have ascended to the outer top of your head and this hat doesn’t serve as a proper container anymore. You roll out of bed every morning; migraine and tight tongue. You skim the fridge for 2 seconds. Another minute passes. You are ready for a glass of water.

AIRCON is a collection of dances. It adresses a bodily nature of language, experienced through the element of air.

Cooperative for time and space. Extra thanks to my ghost double.

What appears singular is not fixed.

LOOMING develops from an ongoing practice working with states and through shifts like cuts in a film where scenes collide and slip out of sync. A cinematic structure closer to editing than continuity.

The work is organized through conditions that emerge and remain in proximity – never fully arriving, never fully resolving. Situations build and interfere with perception and orientation.

Composure

holds.

The practice operates between intuitive world-building and precise compositional structures. Images are treated as active conditions rather than representations.

A figure begins to split.

ORION, I’ve died so little, is set in a winterscape, and unfolds through Orion’s visibility season. The piece reminisces and acts as a retrospective fantasy, of what could have been, what was and reflects what might possibly be.

It explores composition, as a structure for fantasy to unfold and develop from.

There, Seen, Seeing. It performs its own gesture of becoming.

The piece is based on a series of scores, both musical and text, with the latter ones being authored by Inaja K. Skands, continuing on her interest in developing choreography through scriptwriting, text(s), scores and other ambiguous written material.
