Daniel Podor grew up in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, where strong community ties and personal ambition shaped his early experiences. As a young athlete, he was active in soccer, sprinting, and distance running. Daniel began his college studies at Rollins College and later earned a degree in business from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His dedication to learning continued with an MBA from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, where he focused on entrepreneurship and leadership. For him, education has always been more than a goal; it is a way of thinking. He is an avid reader and enjoys collecting books about American history and the story of Cleveland. Daniel's professional journey has centered on cardiovascular medical device sales, where he has worked with both startups and Fortune 500 companies. He is recognized for his strategic mindset and ability to adapt to diverse business environments. Alongside his corporate career, he founded a marketing agency specializing in electric vehicle charging and a consulting practice focused on sales strategy and marketing. These ventures reflect his interest in sustainability, innovation, and guiding others. Family is at the heart of his life. Daniel lives in Bethesda, Maryland, with his wife, two daughters, and son. He values spending time with them, whether reading together or cheering them on in their activities. His passion for endurance sports has led him to complete several 5Ks and half-marathons, which he views as a means to stay healthy and push himself to new challenges.
