The Annual Luncheon brings together community and corporate leaders in support of women and girls across Texas. We convene around the issues that we face and how we can explore solutions to create an equitable society in which all women and girls can fully participate. We are thrilled to share the stage with award-winning journalist and photojournalist Ann Curry in a moderated conversation with Krys Boyd, host of KERA’s Think. For many years Curry has centered truth and trust in journalism. Take part of this experience as we share the current state of women in our communities statewide and discuss how we can ignite change – both individually and collectively. The luncheon theme is “Catalysts for Change,” recognizing the role the Foundation’s community of donors, grantees, advocates and volunteers play in its ability to achieve its mission of building #StrongWomenBetterWorld through research, advocacy, grantmaking and programs.
