MAKING GALAXIE LIBRARY EVEN BETTER The Galaxie Library is closed this summer for renovation. When it reopens later this year, patrons are in for a treat. The new design will include an iLAB, a pre-literacy learning space, a quiet study area, family seating, meeting rooms and more. In the meantime, use the Interim Galaxie Library inside the Western Service Center lobby to pick up holds, return materials, use the Law Library or check out Chromebooks to use in the atrium.

Bring out your inner Monet with the Summer Discovery Art Contest. Create a drawing, painting or collage that interprets the theme “My Favorite Book” and drop off entries at any Dakota County library June 6–July 14.
