Total Transport Systems reports stellar financial performance in Q1FY‘23 Handles over 5mn shipments since its incep on M U M B A I : To t a l Tr a n s p o r t S y s t e m s reported a Revenue of Rs 176 crore during the April-June quarter. Profit for the period under review increased to Rs 3.65 crore as against Rs 2.42 crore, a year ago. The Revenue growth was on account of higher margin in freight rates in FCL imports and exports along with increase in volumes for sea exports and import LCL. The surge on volume boosted the company’s EBITDA by 32 percent. Exports account for 66 per cent of the Revenue however Freight Forwarding happens to be the key source of Earnings. The firm handled 2,172 TEUs as on June 30 2022. Commenting on the results, Mr. Makarand Pradhan, MD, Total Transport Systems said, “I am happy to share that our company is getting back to original operations of pre-Covid times and generating even better results. Total Transport Systems has handled over 5mn shipments so far. A very strong, knowledgeable and experienced team
has built a very reliable network and the company is able to focus and grow the last mile delivery business by adding more stations. In the last 3 years, we have successfully opened and operated 132 last mile delivery stations for Amazon, Flipkart and Jio. In current financial year Mr. Makarand Pradhan we would be opening 60 more last mile delivery stations, taking our count to 192 operational stations. We also plan to get into the space of same delivery, large online shipments of white goods and operating the, first mile and long hauls for some of the topmost online e-commerce platforms. This business is operated by our subsidiary company One World Logistics Pvt Ltd. under the brand ABHILAYA. He further said that there is a greater understanding about the importance of last mile delivery business and being continually conscious of its time sensitive element gives the company an edge over others and helps generate higher volumes.” Cont’d.
