The Daily Herald hopes you enjoy our fourth annual issue of Year in Photos, largely contributed by award-winning photojournalist Isaac Hale, who won second place in 2019 for Sports Photographer of the Year in the Pictures of the Year International contest. His images of Utah County high school athletes and BYU sports outshone images of life from across the U.S. and world. We take great pride in being able to capture and share such brilliant moments with the readers of Utah County. Life here in this valley is a special one; communities come together in times of joy and sadness, reminding us there’s no place like home.
