Throughout Utah County, cities and businesses hold ceremonies and festivals to celebrate the lighting of the Christmas trees and light displays. Many have hot chocolate, musical entertainment and, of course, visits from Santa Claus.
Pond Town Christmas Lighting Ceremony
Pond Town Christmas is one of the most scenic light displays each Christmas season in Utah County. Head to Salem to celebrate the display’s second lighting of the season as part of the city’s annual celebration. The Salem Youth Council will be serving hot chocolate and doughnuts. Peteetneet Christmas Lighting Party
The lighting at the Peteetneet Museum will follow the annual Santa One-Mile Dash and caroling. Those attending are asked to bring one food item for the local food pantry. As part of its annual Family Week, Lehi city will sponsor a tree-lighting ceremony, which will follow the city’s annual Santa Parade. The parade takes place on Main Street and runs from Lehi High School to the Main Street Plaza.
