HISTORY Dagenham & Redbridge Football Club was formed in 1992 through a merger between Redbridge Forest and Dagenham. The Daggers play at home in the club’s traditional colours of red and blue which represents the two merged teams.
In September 2018 the news broke that Trinity Sports Holdings would be taking over majority ownership of the club. The American consortium, headed by executive chairman Peter B. Freund and Director, Craig Unger secured the long-term future of the club.
The Daggers will be looking forward to entertaining several big names this season, including the likes of Wrexham, Notts County, York City, and local rivals Southend United also reside in the National League.
That’s not to mention the potential for those big FA Cup and FA Trophy draws, with a possible repeat of the 2015/16 season’s run to the third round of the FA Cup, and a glamour tie against Premier League side Everton. Our 2021/22 season first round tie was selected by ITV to be broadcast live, bringing an audience in excess of one million viewers.
The club prides itself on being at the heart of the community, and this position has cemented long-term partnerships, including those with the Club’s principal sponsor West & Coe; Stadium Sponsor Chigwell Construction Limited; Stand Sponsors Molson Coors and SD Samuels.
The 2021/22 season saw the club live up to its community and familyoriented principles, with campaigns such as; Poppy home shirts to raise money for the British Legion, #NoHomeKit shirts to raise awareness for the Shelter charity, our ‘Game For Ukraine’ to raise money for the Humanitarian crisis, and various other community projects. Alongside our renowned Daggers Celebrate Diversity Day, Dagenham & Redbridge helps to make a real difference both on and off the field.

The club has four function rooms available for hire, with are largest function hall able to host up to 250 people.
