Welcome all Dinos!

What’s roaring dinos!!! I hope school is going good for you and for those who had midterms last week (me) I hope you got that 100. Also, it was so fun seeing so many of you pull up to the spirit sessions. At the time of me writing this I still haven’t been to FRN, but I know we dominATE that right? .... Well, some reminders are to make sure that VPs are submitting their articles and visuals on time and that we are turning in those club dues soon! Once again, if you see me at key club events feel free to come up and say hi, especially if you have a good kdrama or romcom movie rec :)

That’s all for my October letter dinos! Remember to stay spirited and serve your community!

STOMP STOMP

Sigh… I’m a little tired after many, many months of fun!

Lately, I’ve made so many memories that will stay with me for life. If you attended RTC or FRN, thank you for making these events so memorable during my term!

But remember to leave room for SERVICE!!! We have a bunch of service opportunities coming up, so be sure to take advantage of them! Plus, make sure we keep on pushing with the PTP money as we help our community! Next month’s D44 Night Market will be the PERFECT opportunity for this, so please watch out for info!

Anyway, as we wind down, you can catch me sleeping or finally having a j*b! So until next time!

RTC Recap! RTC Recap!

September 20th was our Regional Training Conference (RTC), where cupcakes from throughout Region 16 gathered for an exciting day of learning, teamwork, and fun. Our dinos attended different workshops and sessions to learn more about Key Club’s values, leadership, and service opportunities. Joining multiple spirit battles, selling Horchata, and going to DCM, dinos tried our best despite not passing first round. Before the spirit rally, cupcakes enjoyed watching live performances, especially by our LTG Alan and Historian Jae, and interactive games that brought everyone together. Overall, RTC was a success and dinos showed their ROARS, spirit, and sportsmanship!

"I feel happy about getting recognized as a member and I can’t wait to see other people get recognized too! Being recognized as an ext-RAWRdinary dino, by not only my club but division is such a great honor. Can’t wait to volunteer more with Key Club and serve my community."

Vista Key Club had our first club meeting on September 17, where we taught the structure of Key Club, passed our club forms, gave out candy, and had members fill out a FRN interest form. After introducing our officer team for the school year, we discussed 3 volunteer opportunities for the month of September: Fire Fuel Reduction (September 25), Folsom Community Day (September 20th), and Oakmont of Folsom (September 27th). Vista dinos are ready to raise that AAR score!

On September 6th, there was Key Club’s Dinner in the Park event where members came together to serve the community through teamwork and dedication. We helped set up tables, chairs, and decorations to create a welcoming atmosphere for the guests attending the dinner. Throughout the event, Key Clubbers assisted in serving food and ensuring that everyone was taken care. After the dinner ended, we worked together to clean up the area, leaving the park spotless. The event was a meaningful experience that reflected Key Club’s values of leadership and service, bringing members closer while making a positive impact on the community.
